After 60 minutes of intense playoff hockey from Verizon Center, Washington and Montreal are all tied up at at two apiece.

However center Nicklas Backstrom wasted no time in the third, scoring a mere 47 seconds into the the period to give the Caps the lead for the first time. Montreal’s Scott Gomez answered with a goal of his own make things even once again with 12:26 to play.
